Senior Product Designer

Our platform offers everything businesses need to manage and control their expenses in one place, including smart corporate cards, AI-powered automation and insights, streamlined accounting, and centralized dashboards.

Since 2022, over 800 businesses in the UAE—from startups to enterprises like Al Barari, Rove, Rivoli, Punjab National Bank, and CarSwitch—have used Alaan to control their spending and reduce costs. Together, our customers have saved over AED 100 million using Alaan.

Profile Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to lead our design initiatives, taking ownership of the entire design process from concept to delivery. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders, to ensure that design goals align with business objectives.

As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centric designs that simplify complex problems and enhance the overall user experience. You will maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across all platforms and products. Clear communication is essential, as you will be presenting design concepts and solutions to stakeholders at all levels, articulating the reasoning behind your design choices.

In addition, you will leverage data-driven insights and user feedback to continuously refine and optimize designs, ensuring they meet both user needs and business goals.

What You’ll Do?‍

• Lead Design Initiatives: Drive the end-to-end design process for new features and product improvements, from concept to final delivery.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define user needs, and align design goals with business objectives.
• Create User-Centric Designs: Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that solve complex problems and enhance the overall user experience.
• Maintain Design Consistency: Uphold and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency across all platforms and products.
• Communicate with Clarity: Effectively present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders at all levels, clearly communicating the rationale behind design choices.
• Leverage Data-Driven Insights: Use user analytics and feedback to refine designs, ensuring each feature and iteration is aligned with user needs and business goals.

• Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in Product Design, with a proven track record of shipping world-class SaaS/Fintech products across both web and mobile platforms.

• Design Excellence: You have a clean aesthetic sense, with a sharp eye for detail and quality, ensuring that every design is both beautiful and functional.
