The Finance & General Services Director will oversee the company’s financial operations and general services, ensuring the effective management of financial resources, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the delivery of high-quality administrative services. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as managing the general services function including facilities, procurement, and overall operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the implementation of financial controls across departments.
- Manage the general services function, including facilities management, procurement, and administration.
- Provide strategic financial advice and insights to senior leadership for decision making.
- Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and ensure optimal capital structure.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement internal controls and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance and general services professionals.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and vendors.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for executive management and stakeholders.
- Set Standard Operating Procedure for all operation & financial work to insure clear transactions.
Requirements.
- 10+ years of professional experience in finance and general services, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating financial operations, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals and strategies.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, specifically within a multi-subsidiary environment.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance, and internal controls, especially in managing financial operations with Sirc in different legal and operational environment.
- Solid experience in overseeing general services functions, including facilities management, procurement, administration, and corporate support.
- Exposure to international financial systems and multinational operations is a plus.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with local and international teams, stakeholders, and regulators.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with experience in systems integration.
- Ability to analyze complex financial and operational issues, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies across the business units.
